She has taught public school from grades 6 through college, and is deeply knowledgeable on the flora, fauna, and natural environment. Off-duty she rides her AQHA horse Starbuck Bueno and breeds AKC Doberman Pinschers."

                All tours leave from the Outpost, right on Hwy 89 at the Paria River bridge — 30 minutes from Page, Arizona; 45 minutes from Kanab, Utah; 10 minutes from Big Water, Utah. Easy to find — big sign, right on the highway. We offer a one-queen B&amp;B ($100/night with breakfast, no TV / phone / wifi), tent and hammock camping, and RV dry-camping in the parking lot. The Paria Outpost BBQ restaurant, open since 1998, currently serves by advance reservation for special groups and private parties.
